The Building include the tunnel that connects the syahbandar tower with the istiqlal mosque as well as fatahillah museum.
Tower syahbandar also called Post Uitkijk , founded in 1839 and is located in the western part of the Ciliwung River estuary . or rather now at Jalan Pasar Ikan No. 1 Jakarta.
Known with name Tower monitoring or Post Uitkijk , because the tower is used to monitor the entire area well towards the Sunda Kelapa harbor and out to the sea north and toward the south side of the City of Batavia.

The tunnel is connected to the fort Frederik Hendrik Park Wilhelmina Park Oud Fort and the underground fortress , which was then dismantled and built a mosque that is now named Istiqlal.
Inside the bunker there is also a door that is the entrance to the tunnel connecting to Stadhuis or now known as the Museum of History or the Museum Fatahillah Jakarta Batavia.
The Museum Batavia is a museum located in Jalan Fatahillah No. 2 , West Jakarta with an area of over 1,300 square meters. Room with a width of 8 meters and a length of 10 meters , in which there is only seating in the wall half a meter with an area of 5 x 5 meters.
